Census Fund Collaborative is fiscally sponsored by New Venture Fund, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Funders engaged with CFC make grants directly to organizations and projects aligned with the Plan of Action or to a pooled fund at New Venture Fund through which resources are deployed to fill gaps and meet urgent needs.
A Steering Committee guides CFC funding priorities and helps establish overall philanthropic strategy on the census. The Steering Committee consists of 14 of the nation’s most prominent national and regional foundations.
